I’ve read so no so flattering reviews about this place and ended up trying it anyway. This is now the third time. Two times take out once sitting in for full service. I can’t say I had the same problems as many. The staff were professional. The food has been good. They even have parking. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is I believe they could be a little cleaner. To be clear, the food prep areas were always clean. Again, I will going back again. I think this place is worth a try and I will update if I ever have an issue.

I used to order from the sushi place a lot. I would order the crispy salmon roll and make my husband try it and he liked it A LOT as well. But as I ordered more the quality of the food became worse. I gave them a few more chances but the order that I ordered recently is now making me never to order from them again. I looked at the other reviews and saw many other people said same things. The order that I got was crispy salmon roll and the avocado was BLACK! I was so disgusted… and the sushi felt hot and cold so they gave me probably three day old sushi and microwaved it. Also the staff in Kiku are very mean especially the woman who answers the phone. If they want more customers (which they don’t have many when I would visit them) they need to make there food more fresh and staff more polite. Never going to come back to this place again and I would recommend to you better sushi places on Staten Island like SALMON SUSHI in the north side of Staten Island. They are more clean and polite.

So we tried this place twice, far apart from eachother, because benifit of the doubt. However. How does this place stay open? I would rather by sushi from a gas station. It would probably smell less fishy and taste less fishier. Their product quality is sickening to say the least. Id hate to see what their food safety protocols are because they will get people sick.

the waitress answering the phone was so obnoxious. she had a huge attitude and just was overall ugly. i dont get if your so miserable while doing your job why dont quit. giving this 3 stars because the other waitress was so much nicer and the food is not bad.
