Adventures into Distraction
What a fun place! Cocktails were tasty and reasonable. The Pineapple Express was a hit with my sister who was celebrating her 21st birthday. We enjoyed Skye Paige’s performance! Loved ‘Hottest Girl in the Trailer Park’. The regulars were chill and friendly. We’ll definitely be back our next trip down.

Stopped into Follywood for a quick eat while on vacation. Food was good, environment was chill. Bartender/waitress could have had a much better attitude. She presented herself well upon our seating. Asked her to bring the two kids a water for after they finished their soda. She did. Later asked for another water for my partner since she had been to our table twice and didn’t offer a refill or to bring another water. At this point the kids hadn’t touched their water yet. She said, “oh, it looks like you have two waters right there.” To which I replied, “yes, those are the ones you brought for the kids.” She starred at me and rolled her eyes as she walked away. Seriously? Over water? We will visit Folly Beach again but for Follywood, one and done. Never again.

Food was excellent! Great service especially considering that it was being run by just 2 people. Only complaint is that I paid $5 for the $3 draft special. I didn’t address while I was there because the Cook and Bartender were hustling and getting it done!

This place had potential as it looks like a cool little dive bar and grill. However we stopped in today to try and get a snack and a drink. When we came in the waitress/bartender was cleaning some tables and told us to sit anywhere. After sitting there for 10 to 15 minutes she did not come over to ask us if you want anything to drink or eat. Finally we just got up and walked out due to the poor service.

We stumbled into Planet Follywood on what was a random Monday for us. We had to wait for some family to get onto the beach so we had a long couple hours ahead of us. Thankfully, Dottie was there to save the day. She was so sweet, best server ever, and showed us a good time. On top of this Angel serving us, trivia started!!!! We had no idea. I freaked out. We only tied for 3rd place but it was so much fun and I was so glad we ended up at Planet Follywood that night! We loved the food, drinks, and atmosphere!
