I’m a tough burger critic and this was a good burger! Definitely on par with your 5 Guys, Shake Shack, Social Burger, etc. First, the patty is huge and very tasty (assuming they use fresh chuck judging from taste). Secondly, they are generous with any toppings you add. No 2-3 little mushrooms or jalapeños. Essentially, toppings cover the diameter of the patty so you get some with each bite. Fries are thin and crisp which I like, but they’re not piling on like 5 Guys so keep that in mind. Next time I’ll give the shakes a shot. Solid place

Burgers and chicken sandwiches done right, with generous portions, meats cooked to perfection, and well-cooked fries to accompany the food. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich and was pleasantly surprised at how spicy the juicy, marinated cut of chicken was and appreciated the balance between the savory tanginess of the sauce and the crisp, salty fries. Uniquely for burger joints in the area, this restaurant chain also serves an array of alcoholic beverages, from beer to cocktails. Plenty of seating inside and outside(!) the restaurant, and the staff are incredibly helpful, attentive, and kind. Will be going back to try more burgers and sandwiches–plus a cocktail next time!

Great first visit! Good variety on the menu (especially the no-bun bowl options with four choices). My wife had the Mex Tex bowl with a burger patty and a glass of Chardonnay. I ordered the Hot & Hefe burger, cooked rare, with Queso fries and a glass of red blend wine.

Soooo good!! I loved my burger. I got the Horseradish Bourbon burger and bacon queso fries. This was actually my second visit, the first time i ate everything before i took a pic , so I had to return and glad I did. The food was consistently delicious, made correctly in a lovely, timely manner. (Great food is made fresh).

We went to the Shirlington restaurant for the longest time and were very excited when the Vienna restaurant opened up. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was getting worse and worse every time. The burgers would come undercooked, sometimes even with the wrong toppings. It used to be very good but now every time we go there, it is just straight up bad. If you want a good burger, the other burger shops in Vienna are much better. If you do go there, one thing that is still good are the truffle fries.

I am a regular here at the Big buns vienna, I enjoy coming here often as the service is great and the staff is always so great with me. They always ask how my day is and make sure I get everything I need. The food is delicious. I recommend anyone who likes spicy food to try the “hot and hefe”. I’m always happy to come here

Mehhhh. Pricey and honestly, I found the food to be fine but really nothing special. The serving size for the jammin sprouts was laughable—I ate the whole thing in about 4 bites. The lucky charm shake just wasn’t that good. We will probably keep looking for a place to get a quick burger.

I ordered a Angus burger with allot of custom toppings, the burgers here are fresh with all the toppings and special sauces. EXCELLENT place for burgers, they also have grilled chicken, fried chicken, turkey and even veggie.
