The staff were friendly and quick. The food was okay. I’ve had better but definitely not the worst I’ve had. The portion size for fajita was small compared to most restaurants. Chicken was on the dry side. The chips were a little odd tasting. I was not a fan of the set up in the restaurant. It is beautiful and there are lots of pretty flowers but all of the tables and booths are crowded together. A little uncomfortable for a family of four.

Everything about El Vaquero is inviting. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, and the outdoor seating area had so many gorgeous plants and colorful flowers, it just felt cozy. I had the steak fajitas and the meat was well seasoned, cooked to perfection and not at all fatty, like some steak can be. Oir food came quickly, and it was all hot and delicious. We will absolutely be returning next time we are in town.

Great food, and great service. Shrimp chimi was great, and street tacos were delicious. Guacamole was fresh and excellent with a nice serving size. Wish I’d gotten waitresse name. Because she was on point and had a lot of customers but never missed a beat. She was phenomenal.

My family and I come her a lot and never have had trouble till this one time. We told a waitress that the ground beef was very greasy and she said she would have the taco salad remade however a few minutes later another female came out of the kitchen with a fresh batch of ground of beef and said I just want to show you the ground beef is not greasy at all and refused to replace the taco salad and still making us pay for this greasy one and we were treated very rude by the 2nd female from the kitchen who didn’t speak English very well.
