It is good tasting but way overpriced for tacos. There are many options to choose from. I would have been a returning customer, but it is hard to accept paying over $40(including tip) for two meals for fast food.

I was pumped to try the food from the taco truck when it was local to me, but felt the food was over priced, quality was low, and flavor was lacking. I purchased 3 different menu items to try, the trio of beef tacos, queso Birria nachos, and the cilantro lime rice bowls with chicken. The best of the 3 were the tacos. The were simple (classic style) but not bad. Not worth $5 per taco. They had very little toppings so I didn’t feel like I got my bang for my buck. You can get a high flavor profile, higher quality taco from Condado tacos for the same price. You can also get a taco from the local Mexican restaurant for $3 and the taste and flavor is superior. I next tried the $12, mini rice bowl. The serving size was of something my 9 year old would eat, who doesn’t eat large portions. The classic toppings were sparse, the chicken looked and tasted like Perdue chicken from the bag (100% not fresh cooked), and the cilantro lime rice did not taste like cilantro or lime. The overall dish didn’t taste bad, but the quality was low, flavor was lacking and it should have cost no more than $6. The last item I tried were the $15 (maybe $16) queso Birria nachos..do not bother purchasing these – total waste of money and they were not great. Did I eat 1/3 of them, yes, but because I was hungry and I spent $46 on food that was not good and if there’s one thing I like less than bad food, it’s wasting money. There was no queso. What they placed on the tiny broken up pieces that should have been tortilla chips was gravy. I can guarantee by taste and look there was no cheese in this mixture. It was wet and the top layer of chips were soggy immediately open eating them after being handed my order that was “freshly made”. The Birria was dry and by no means Birria (marinated meat stew or soup). Again, little to no toppings on this and lots of tiny little broken chips.

Honestly I don’t usually rewrite reviews but…. I recently just had a baby and this was the only food I craved so my husband took me there and I started going there to grab food and we tip good always and are very respectful of the girls. But they are mean and even though they are hardly ever busy they seem to be annoyed by customers that come in. Super rude and want nothing to do with the people. It’s the two girls the skinny one and the short light skin one. Anyways we walk in and they are talking while laughing in a different language and ask “weren’t you in here yesterday” so we say no and my husband is trying to lighten up the mood but these girls were having none of it and are super rude and get annoyed by us ordering. I worked at chipotle for years before so I understand food service and advice do not work jobs like this if you do not want to interact with people. And to be rude to a person who just had a baby is even sadder. We won’t be back till they get new employees seems the only two girls are tired of their jobs….. yikes. (The pizza place has some of the best workers so sweet and remembered us from a while back and always got smiles on their faces!!) maybe get the ones from the pizza place to run both. Ridiculous

This place is incredibly delicious! The ingredients are fresh and there are so many great choices! I could eat here every day and not get tired of it. Portion sizes are generous as well – especially for the price. Highly recommend!

Amazing!!! I ordered a rice bowl which comes in a standard or large size the standard was plenty for me, and my partner got a taco loaded with 2 kinds of jalapeños and mango habenaro sauce and he was thrilled with the flavors. Every meal comes with free chips and salsa and its the best salsa I’ve tasted. The cookies are huge and super soft. 1010 would eat again

The food was ok. My meal was cold. I couldn’t even eat it. My friends both had different meals which were hot and good. Not much Mexican flavoring, more on the plain side. Everything came with free chips and salsa or queso which was really neat.

Really impressed with the quality of ingredients, and taste, of my tacos. Made for a great Taco Tuesday! Meat had good flavor all by itself, and the selection of toppings and sauces will offer something that everybody will like. Only complaint is that my wife’s quesadilla was difficult to hold, as it was pretty floppy. If they could find a way to get the tortilla shell to crisp up a bit that would be great, otherwise her’s tasted great, too.
