I happened to be down in Akron around lunchtime. My coworker Googled “soul food around me”. This place popped up, and I decided to give it a try. When I arrived, I was a little surprised by the location. I almost changed my mind about giving it a try, but I decided to not judge a book by its cover. I am happy with my decision. The food was some of the best I’ve ever eaten that wasn’t cooked by my grandmother. The mac and cheese was so good, I almost died. So were the yams. Big props for the food, even if the location was a little weird to me. I would definitely order from there again.

Ordered from doordash last night. I thought it was semi-expensive for what the description said, but there was actually a lot of food! Definitely worth it! And sooooooooo good! Got the Pork Rib dinner with Baked Beans, Mac & Cheese, and Cornbread. That Cornbread though! Wow! Everything was packaged well, too. No spills. Great job guys!

Can you say GOOD….I was taking a risk with DoorDash one night….and I’m glad I did….the Mac and cheese is REALLY BAKED and not some quick box bs. The yams are FRESH and not canned…I can tell….and everything is seasoned to perfection..not too much….I was blown away before I got to the fish….I will be back again !!!
