Tried this out for the first time. Prices to not match quality of food or service. Food was ok but nothing special. Went in a Thursday evening. Not too crowded but service was slow and pizza was even slower. Got the shrimp tacos – tacos were old and salsa was jarred. Got a pizza. Again just not great quality Definitely not worth the prices though.

Good meal! First time coming here and sat at the bar for more casual seating although the whole restaurant is pretty casual. There is a bar and then a pizza oven bar which was pretty cool if you wanted to watch your pizza be cooked. We came for the steak, obviously. $105 for 3 drinks, a 16oz Ribeye, Prime Rib, and a lobster tail. The ribeye was great, cooked perfectly and had a great crust and flavor, only complaint was that it wasn’t very fatty for a ribeye. The prime rib was smoked and had a good Smokey flavor but that was about it. The lobster tail was phenomenal and only cost $10 to add. The vegetable of the day with both meals was a steamed mix of Brussels sprouts, carrots, and red bell peppers which was underwhelming and flavorless. The mashed potatoes were good, not great. Cocktails were okay, muddled cherries just don’t do it for me personally. Overall it was pretty good, I’ll definitely be back to try different things on the menu, they had a lot that looked really good and I’m definitely going to try some appetizers next time!

Basic, non spectacular menu options or atmosphere. Friendly service, although it appeared somewhat inconvenient due to lack of communication between waitresses and bus staff (water/bread servers). Was grateful for a substitution of shrimp instead of chicken (not advertised) for my salad & I may return again to try other menu options. I will say the next day (only ate half) the food tasted better and the dressing was the best…oh and the rolls, let me add a star!

Stopped here while driving home. Renovated former Lowery’s restaurant (long-time venue in this region). It’s now a fresh, clean, friendly environment. Food was great and our service was excellent (thanks Kristy!). We had fried shrimp appetizer – one of the best I’ve had – really fresh salad and then prime rib and rockfish. While the main dish plating can use a little improvement, the food itself was spot on. Not over seasoned, large quantity,. We are both nearing the end of a month of Whole30 and Kristy helped us select menu items that kept us (close to) our restrictions. Huge bar area, lots of space, not noisy, really just what this area needs. The owner is a successful restauranteur from the Fredericksburg area and he’s broken new ground for this small community. Worth the drive!

Wonderful steak, seafood and wood fire pizza place! We luckily were sat near the wood fire oven where they cook pizza! It was great to watch and the food was awesome! Lovely atmosphere and staff! Pictures show margherita pizza, kids plate shrimp/fries, filet/shrimp, pork chop and salmon. We will definitely be back again!

The food is amazing. I love steak! Have had the best there is in NYC, Chicago, Philly, KC, and Tappahannock needed to bring this upscale flavor to those here who favor beef ( and char on the outside medium rare in. Yum.) The servers try really hard and are helpful and friendly. I appreciate the quality and the expertise in the kitchen. Ingredients are fresh. It’s wonderful!

This was our second time at 528 Prime. We ordered wings, pizza, and burgers. Everything was excellent. The wings are fantastic – smoky and very tasty. They have a really cool pizza oven that you can watch them make the pizzas. I have not had a steak yet, but the rest of the food is great. They seem to be doing a really nice job. Service was great. We will be back.

It’s okay, the outdoor patio was super cute. But the food was ugh. The waitress was talking up the ribs about how they have been on the smoker all day. Well, that must have been a day or two before because ours were refrigerated cold in the center. They were not tender and we ended up sending them back.

I wish I had ordered the steak. They do a great job on steak. I ordered the stuffed flounder and it was not very good. It was not stuffed with crab meat as advertised but came with a crab cake on top which was very odd. The crab cake was frozen not fresh. I still enjoy this restaurant and the owner is an awesome person. But steak for me next time.
