The food was awesome! Definitely can tell a difference from old owners to new owners. This was the 1st time we ate here since returning from Knoxville. I had the Brisket plate which was tender and awesome tasting. My son had the philly cheese sandwich and fries also good. Staff was nice n kept the sweet tea full.

The sweet tea is really good along with everything that we ordered. Service was fantastic as well, glad that we stopped here to eat lunch on the way back to Georgia from our trip in Florida. The restaurant has been around since 1891 and their price is reasonable.

Stopped in and tried the pork nachos. They were pretty good but admittedly kind of on the small side. Definitely will give it another shot as I’m through this area three to four times a week.

I wish I could give you 10 stars! It’s been a long time since I had service this great. The food was excellent of course but the service was so outstanding. It’s hard to find good help these days and the young man that waited on us went above and beyond. The only complaint I could give is there is no changing table in the women’s bathroom. I walked in and a lady Apologized right away because she was blocking the sink. She had to lay her baby on the small counter to change his diaper and clothes. I didn’t mind waiting but I know it bothered the mother. We highly recommend you order the corn Nuggets. They are the best we ever had.

Oh my the food was outstanding. The ribs are fall off the bone melt in your mouth! I got the pork plate and it was so tender and delicious. All four of our kids eat everything on their plates. That’s called oh my goodness! Will be back and we can’t wait!

The food is really good and flavorful. I eat there often. I normally get the 2 meats 2 sides with chicken which is a leg quarter and ribs which is 3 bones…. My side veggie medley ….. Which is flavored and charred just right……. This time I got a baked potato with cheese which was an additional 2.97…. the 2 meats 2 sides is 16.95…….. I’m not to fond of the ribs though……. Sometimes they are just right other times they are not…. Guess it depends on the cook….. Their health score is a 93 which I don’t like……. U can dine in or order it to carry out……. Really good!!!! I love it…..

I haven’t been able to try the other location BBQ joints, but this is some of the best BBQ I have ever gotten! They offer military discount here, the service was friendly, and everything ordered was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend everyone to try Golden Rule BBQ & Grill!

We gave you a 2nd try and you FAILED. Host girl taking names had a huge attitude with guest.. the first night we came, the other host did as well. Brisket was very fatty, couldn’t eat half. Baked potato sat under the heat lamp and was so hard, we couldn’t cut into it with our fork. Macaroni was dry and hard on top like it sat under the heat lamp too long. . Manager came out, we told her we weren’t happy, AND SHE TOOK OFF THE BAKED POTATO ONLY. WE ARE NOT HAPPY. and Will NOT come back.

Golden Rule of Andalusia catered our family event this evening. It was absolutely delicious – not just one item, but every single menu item we ate! The cole slaw wasn’t too runny, the meat wasn’t too greasy, and the baked beans had so much flavor. I look forward to eating Golden Rule BBQ the next time I come home to Andalusia.
