We’ve been a couple of times now, and each time everything was fantastic. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Slidell. The chilaquiles were top notch, and the street corn is an amazing shareable appetizer for the table. The house margarita is $10 and better than the top shelf anywhere in town.

This was our first time and let me just say Amazing!!! The service and atmosphere was amazing! The food was amazing! There was 12 of us and we all ordered a different item on the menu plus three different appetizers to share and every single one of us was satisfied. Thank you for the great experience, we will definitely be back.

Disappointed. Chips and salsa was good. Chicken tacos were all grease. Couldn’t even tell there was chicken in it. Just hard pieces of grease. Sadly was not impressed. However we might try one more time. My friend was brought the wrong item as well. The queso dip was good.

The food is not a good value for the money. For example, I ordered the Tacos Del Rey with shrimp. The shrimp were small, and the tortillas completely fell apart from the bottom when I tried eating them like a traditional taco. I had to (shamelessly) eat my taco with a fork. The rice that came with my meal was like a weird hibachi fusion rice – not good. The house habanero salsa was a hit for me – it was hot and had a nice flavor. Make sure to ask for it if you visit.

The restaurant was very clean and the decor was very fun to look at. The waiters/waitresses were very friendly and right on top on waiting on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The food came out hot and steaming, and super fast! I will definitely be returning to El Patron! Not to mention, the drinks were AMAZING!!

The food was horrible. The best thing they have to offer is chip and dip. The service was slow. The biggest hoax of all is that they do not put prices on the drink menu. I ordered a top shelf margarita and it was $20!!!!…Not worth it! Do yourself a favor…go to the grocery store and make your own quesadilla and buy a bottle of margarita mix. You will come out much better!

Worst Mexican food I have ever had. Definitely not worth your time here. Better to go somewhere else in town than this place. Food was disgusting and cold. Drinks were watered down. Service was very slow kitchen may have been slow and I can’t fault the server Ashley but she wasn’t really helping the situation. Don’t waste time or money on this place.
