This location has lied abt having ghost pepper wings available after 9pm since they returned to the menu. I’ve gone several times at or around 9:05p and been told they were sold out. I had a feeling they were lying, but one day I decided to order online after 9pm and see what happened. I was able to successfully place the order and chose drive through to pick it up. When I went through the drive through I tried to order wings and sure enough I was told they were sold out. I pulled up to the window and told them I had an online order and got the wings I ordered with no problem. I drove back around and sat in the parking lot and placed another successful order for pick up for Ghost pepper wings proving they weren’t sold out like I was just told. I have no idea why they don’t want to serve the wings after 9pm but they are blatantly lying to customers about it daily.

Ordered online. Had to wait 24 minutes before I got my order. They said they had an outage. Got home and my chicken was way darker than normal like it was cooked in old grease. Very unsatisfactory experience.

I had a bad experience at a Popeyes many years ago and had never been back. My work crew in Alexandria asked for it and I reluctantly went and picked it up. To my surprise it was quite tasty. The staff was friendly and service was quick.

Horrifying Popeye’s location – Popcorn shrimp we received had clearly been spoiled, god it smelled like an infection. My cat didn’t even want anything to do with it. Avoid location at all costs.

You can’t go wrong with the Cajun rice and the chicken stripes. It’s on point every time. I was welcomed when I walked in. My order was repeated back. Everything was good as usual. I recommend Popeyes but I don’t think I need to this place is always busy busy! Oh and for breakfast their grits are the best around.

I finally tried the famous Popeyes spicy chicken sandwich. It was a very good fast food chicken sandwich. However, we did have inconsistent customer service with mixed reporting about the wait-time. Initially, I was informed the sandwiches wouldn’t be ready for 15-20 minutes. I ordered chicken fingers instead. However, the sandwiches ended up being ready before the chicken fingers. I was served one…but was offered a side I didn’t want in lieu of a partial refund since the chicken fingers were more expensive. The employees had good intentions, but this felt a bit inefficient.

I don’t know, rice in red beans and rice is hard…not cooked correctly. This happened last 2 times I visited.

You usually expect a dingy and somewhat scruffy atmosphere at Popeye’s in exchange for good tasting fried chicken. Not the case at this Popeye’s in Alexandria. Clean, good and friendly service-no doubt a product of the motivated manager that was on duty and took my order-, but best of all: delicious Chicken. They even had smooth Southern music playing for ambience. I stopped at Popeye’s in New Orleans and Baton Rouge and kept walking out for lack of cleanliness or attitude from the staff. This place is worth the wait and the stop.
