Extremely high quality sushi, the best I’ve had in Vegas over 4 trips. Every piece was delicate, mouth watering, complex and served deliberately such that you’re taken on a culinary journey. Pricey but also great value. Service was very good with very friendly staff, including the chefs.

While usually the service and food are excellent… This last visit was disastrous. Food took extremely long to prepare. So long I though they forgot my order. My friends son waited nearly 40min for a dish he had ordered at the start then came after we were all done eating even after the long wait times for food. They were not extremely busy either.

Sen of Japan is by far the best sushi experience I have had since living in Las Vegas this year. I had the omakase. The fish was fresh and service was seamless. My only slight criticism would be that there were more kitchen dishes than sushi dishes. The kitchen dishes were excellent but sushi is preferred. We actually got a few extra nigiri at the end of the savory courses to get our fill. I would definitely go back!

I was in town on business as a corporate chef. I found this place while driving to my work location. I’m glad I went that night. The food was fantastic. The red snapper was “melt in your mouth” tender. The calamari with jalapeno relish was awesome! Kryan was my server and she was great. I ended up returning the next evening. I would have gone for a third if I was in Vegas another evening.

My husband and I love Japanese food. We’ve been to dozens of places in town. This is by far the best sushi, sashimi, and hot dishes we’ve ever had. This is our new favorite spot. Came in for our anniversary tonight. Both the food and service was impeccable. Ask for Lena. She was wonderful.

We did the seven course sushi meal which was mind-blowing. My only complaint was that the excellent dessert was pretty large and after a lot of sushi personally I don’t need all that dessert but otherwise it was amazing. Otherwise also it’s not cheap at about 100 bucks a head so not like one of the all you can eat sushi places they’re about a third of the cost. Plating service atmosphere we’re all outstanding.

Let’s put it this way, I don’t even want children but I would have one just to baptize them at Sen of Japan! My girlfriend wants to move to Europe but I don’t think I could physically live beyond 10 miles of this place. I attend Sen of Japan more often than church. If i was sentenced to death row the Toro here would be my final request. If the Yellowstone super volcano blows up tomorrow the first place I would run to is Sen of Japan. Needless to say, it’s decent. Just kidding…. the fish tastes like it was plucked out of the ocean second before, it goes down smoother than Niagara Falls, and disappears quicker than a man evading child support. I get butterflies entering this place. Oh and the staff and servers are beyond talented, yet so humble. It’s a +100/10. Oh and if you have an unrefined taste palate don’t even waste these talented chefs time.
