Their Double Deluxe Pepperoni pizza is my favorite pizza, best I’ve ever had. Loaded with Pepperoni and tons of cheese, if you like a good pepperoni pizza, you’ll love this. In the late 80’s, while I was attending Boise State University, I would order this on a regular basis. After college, moved to Seattle and just moved back after 35 yrs, and was thrilled to see Chicago Connection still here and still serving this wonderful pizza. We try to dine here each time we come into Boise. The Authentic Italian Meatballs are a great starter. And the staff are friendly and attentive. Just a great overall pizza restaurant. I don’t believe you’ll be disappointed.

Dined in tonight for dinner with my family and had an absolutely terrible customer service experience with Deborah, our server. She got our orders wrong, never checked on our table, we even had to go up to the kitchen just to get a refill on our drinks. We were the only customers in the entire restaurant so there should have been no excuse as to why the service was poor. When we took back a check that wasn’t ours, Deborah was in the back gossiping with the cook and proceeded to roll her eyes at me when I politely tried to give the other ticket back. She only seemed to care when we first sat down and when we went to pay. On the plus side, food was good!!( despite it not being written down and made correctly)

Only went to have an Ice Tea and Diet Coke from the stand available for public selection. Sat outside at the table on a beautiful day. Asked male attendant if the had a public WI-FI password? Was told they only have WI-FI for their internal use nothing for public use….! As I looked around inside the pizza restaurant there were at least 8+(?) tables for staying to eat and also the 6-8 tables outside. Not everyone wants to pick up food to go. This place is not balanced for all patrons. We left after finishing our beverage!

Just like I remember when I was a kid. This pizza tastes really good. Go for a classic. It’s a little old fashioned, but I like the nostalgic feel. The staff are very friendly. It was my son’s first time there and he LOVED the pizza. Check it out.

We got garlic bread which came with a sauce more like spaghetti than marinara. We ordered the 5 Star, it is supposed to have pepperoni and sausage. It was more like a cheese and mushroom pizza. The least amount of meat I have ever had on a pizza that was supposed to have meat on it. We asked for water with a lemon, they didn’t even have lemons. If you really like mozzarella cheese this would be your place. I will say the crust wasn’t bad. We did not talk to the server or manager. We just decided to leave. There was just as few pepperoni under the cheese. I do appreciate the response. The workers should be talked to.
