My boyfriend and I went since we saw that they sold gyros. First off I’d like to say that the staff were really nice, but everything there was super expensive. For instance, for a slice of cake it’s $6.50-$7.50, and stay away if you want gyros. They’re gyros are super expensive compared to Greek Gyro Express on 310 North First Street, and they also give you a lot less then Greek Gyros. So can’t say I’ll be returning to this location anytime soon.

I LOVE this little deli! Not only is the food delicious but when I worked downtown at one of their neighboring stores id call in my order and they delivered my meal!!! Always friendly and helpful. Their quaint atomosphere makes you feel right at home.

I use to go here a lot. Until I found a clump of hair in my macaroni salad. And commented on one of their posts so they would know. And instead of apologizing or anything they just deleted the comment. So I will not be going back. Hence, the 2 stars.

Great memories of The Back Door deli, remember when they opened at the back of the Banqe Club when I was in HHS (The best graduating class of 1980, of course) Love the sandwiches. I am a classic hot turkey and cheese sub and never disappointed when I get to come home from Boston and one of my first stops is here. “Back in the days” was a very simple menu, today wonderful variety and hand made. The owner is wonderful and great to chat with when I come back. I will come here over any other sub shop. The desserts are original and always changing. My comfort place when Im home. Thank you.
