We had a great experience here. The outdoor seating was perfect for the weather. For appetizers we had the oysters and charred octopus. Oysters were disappointing, seeming somewhat dry, but the octopus was really good. For entrees we tried the cowboy stew, cioppino, and roasted whole branzino. Each dish was excellent so it will be exciting to try more. I also had the nature’s remedy cocktail which was very refreshing. I will be back

Oh my god this place is so good! We went for oysters but were blown away with the entrees. The short rib pasta was incredible and beyond our expectations. I mean seriously this was some of the best food I’ve ever had in San Diego. And do NOT skip the desert. I’m so glad I saved room!

What a cute hidden gem in La Mesa. The seafood is fresh and delicious. We got here on a busy Mother’s Day for dinner and got seated right away at the bar. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive to us. The mini tacos were so cute and the oysters were great! A bit small inside but very cozy atmosphere.

Absolutely best place for delicious food lovers. May not be best for location, not perfectly clean inside. But customer service and cuisine can beat those imperfections easily. We had outside table, had a really great time twice in that restaurant. Every single plate with food was master piece. Highly recommend this place.

Rockefeller Oysters were bomb, Mexican shrimp and pistachio salad was bomb! I ordered two orders of Oysters to go and got a salad to go and my salad they gave me had the condiments on the side! The amount of lettuce they gave me is ridiculous for twelve dollars and it was brown! I was so excited to come back because the food and ambiance was so nice but the quality and quantity of food you get dinning in and ordering out deferred drastically! I basically paid for the peanuts that came on the salad! The salad I ordered while dining had two big wedges and the wedges were green ! It was big enough that me and my friend had one each and they filled us up! Ill post a picture to show what I got to take home! Smh please do better because I feel ripped off! That salad was not worth what I paid! Between me and my friend we spent 250 on cocktails, shrimp and 6 orders of oysters so why did the service change at the end?

I had a WONDERFUL experience. Had a cheese plate with a mango margarita. My son had the duck plate and New your steak, which was so delicious and buttery. The French fries were perfect. They have outdoor seating as well. Perfect place to come with friends and family or to have some alone time with yourself. I love this place. I highly recommend Oyster & pearl.

Deliciously awesome dining experience. So good, I went two nights in a row! The grilled octopus, shucked oysters, little gems salad with pistachio dressing, margarita… It was all wonderful and I would recommend all of it. Sorry I didn’t take photos!

Went out to dinner with my family last night and we had such an incredible experience at Oyster and Pearl. Attentive and pleasant service. I ordered the Salmon dish with farro and I’ve got to say it was very flavorful and fresh. We also ordered the calamari and oysters as appetizers and we were delighted with both platters. Highly recommend this restaurant. Big thanks to the friendly staff and Chef for high class service and exquisite food.

This has to be the ultimate dining experience, from the the cozy ambience to the delectable eats. I was so amazed by everything we ate. From our first plates which were: the kale Caesar salad and the little gem salad, the oysters were nothing less than exceptional hence the name. For our main we had the seafood pasta as well as the Branzino which is my favorite thing on the menu it’s roasted to perfection with all the herbs and fixings, it had a lemon honey butter to dip into and the fingerling potatoes are chefs kiss! I can only say good things about this place and will be a repeat customer till the end of time!

Walked in and was immediately greeted with a sarcastic “great” and an eye roll from our supposed to be sever when we said we didn’t have reservations even though there were empty tables. Our server was intentionally ignoring us and served the couple that came in after us even after the hostess gave us water, refilled it and took our order FOR HER she still did not ONCE come over and acknowledge us. I’ve worked in the industry before and I could see it was moderately busy but why are three servers working on one table and completely ignoring the young people like they think we weren’t gonna tip. Smh I was super stoked to try this place and just cause I’m young doesn’t mean I don’t tip..their loss. Literally have never been treated so poorly at a restaurant in my life I was so appalled we walked out with no food after wasting our night.
