First…I really love Mexican food. What I like about El Idolo is the menu has much more than just tacos, burritos, enchiladas and chimichangas – the standard stuff. While those are good on occasion, I don’t always prefer my entrée to be stuffed or rolled inside some sort of tortilla. I have had the Polo El Idolo, Carne Asada, Polo Fundito, Tacos, Tostadas, and Fajitas. The portions have been large and the next day, I was giddy to retrieve my to go box from the fridge at lunch time.

This was my first time eating here and I truly enjoyed my experience. Our waitress was awesome!!! We were seated and had our margaritas within 3 minutes. The portion size is huge and everything tasted great. I ABSOLUTELY loved the grilled shrimp it was perfectly seasoned and perfectly done. I wish I could give more stars.

We had Sr. Citizen date night. here a few nights ago. The service and food were wonderful. Very large portions. Best Margaritas we have had foe a while. We went around 430pm and we loved that it was so quite, we could talk to each other without raising our voices.
