10/10 recommend! You definitely get your money’s worth. HUGE portions, as you can see lol. This the 12 inch fajita burrito and chori pollo. Best Mexican restaurant in the Waterloo area. I don’t usually review unless I’m impressed. So, believe me when I say the food is tasty!

Working on a project in Waterloo and stopped by this place to grab lunch and get some work done on my computer. This has now become my regular spot! The food is great and the staff awesome. Always greet me with a smile….! Food always comes out got and fresh. Would recommend to anyone!

Terrible. Sorry but just about the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. Quacamole wasn’t too bad but no beans or rice with entrees unless you order. Food tastes like it was frozen and plates were full of water, so think it must have been. Sorry for bad review but not worth it to go there again. Ah well…..

I like to go here when I want Mexican seafood because it’s one of the only places in town that serves more than just shrimp. The custom-mixed drinks are pretty exciting too, and all of the dishes come straight out from the kitchen without ever seeing a heat lamp or microwave. I can tell because my kids can touch the plates as soon as they hit the table. If you get the chance, order an extra helping of pico de gallo because it’s the best within 50 miles. And be prepared for some extremely friendly service because the owner serves you himself most of the time. He even started teaching my son Spanish when visit, going so far as to write down some words for him to study. It’s by far the most welcoming Mexican restaurant in Iowa.
