Prices have gone up, but this is still a top tier burger stop in the city. The simple hamburger/cheeseburgers here are better than those at McDonald’s. Well grilled, good quality buns, and SO quick. The shakes are awesome too! Love the chocolate shakes and either of the Dave’s burgers. The fries are usually on the cold and soggy side — of all my times here I don’t think I’ve ever had a fresh batch, but they are alright. Recommend! Iconic Seattle spot. The locations I’ve seen (including this one) don’t have any seating, but this has indoor standing space and plenty of parking.

Pretty good burger, it’s a lot like In n Out, cheap and greasy. Chocolate shake was actually pretty good. Definitely a move if you’re ballin’ on a budget

This is clearly an old school burger place. I like their menu, simple and straightforward. Deluxe burger is perfect; patty, bun, lettuce, and sauce, all on the point.

Great location. Lots of parking. Very fast service. The bathroom is very clean. I can understand the appeal of the food. Even though I didn’t grow up eating it it feels nostalgic. We had the deluxe, fries, and a strawberry milkshake. The fries were soggy but it was takeout

Five stars for this place being what it is. It’s an inexpensive burger joint with good food and quick service. Two of my sons and I ate there late at night. And I bought a meal for a homeless guy there. Super good.

Walked there from our hotel with a cranky teen in tow. This is standing room only, so do not go in with different expectations. Great tasting burgers that are efficient and fast. Were the fries as crisp as I like? No. But, was everything made in front of me and I had food in hand 3 minutes after order? Yes. Would I eat here once a month if I lived in Seattle? Probably. Tasty old school burger shop with thick shakes. Classic.

Since covid, the inside of the restaurant has only standing room, which is first-come-first-serve. One benefit is that there’s plenty of space for kids to run around and do cartwheels, and another is that you digest food better standing up (or so I’ve been told).

Absolutely love it. This location is amazing because it’s usually a quick trip in and out. The milkshakes are still better than any I can find.
