I think people complain a lot about this place not being value to money. It’s expensive definitely, but you can always find a space here as opposed to all other places in town that’s super busy. The good is good, but yes relatively expensive.

High-quality food with a great view and ambiance. I eat here when I stay at the Westin, the quality of the food has always been impeccable, lots of flavor, fresh ingredients, and they are accommodating with my gluten-free diet. Yesterday they made me yummy French toast with their gluten-free bread, and it was a special treat for someone that can’t eat regular bread. Although they seem limited on their staffing this trip, they are still being attentive and are always polite and professional.

It’s a fine hotel restaurant. The decorations fit the sort of “upscale woodsy” vibe as the windows overlook some trees surrounding the hotel. The service is frequently slow, even during high season. It’s worst during shoulder season. The menu is largely unchanged from when the hotel first opened. I think they recently added a few new dishes but otherwise everything is exactly the same. The portions are a good size for the price, but $15 for breakfast is a little on the high side. Of course, you are in a nice hotel chain, so adjust your expectations accordingly.

This place was fancy! Although high in price, the quality is definitely worth it. Great food, calm clean atmosphere with great decor. Inside a resort. We made reservations for our visit, but it was not busy at all on the Friday night we went. Portion sizes were rather large but once again, making it more worth what you spend. Extensive wine menu as well. The staff were great as well.

Nice food, but I in ordering chicken wings, I understand they cut a single wing into several pieces, but expect a fair deal. The drum is the best part, but in my order of wings, got 8 of the 2nd joint but only 4 of the meaty 1st joint part of the wing. For the price- a ripoff.

The atmosphere at the Whitebark Restaurant & Lounge is very cozy. The fireplace, the open bar, and window seating. The food was tasty and the coffee was fresh and strong. A bit pricey but you are paying to eat at a hotel restaurant and the ambiance. The downfall is the extremely poor service. We waited to be approach to be seated until a line of customers formed and the woman behind us had to flag someone down. Once seated it took awhile for the server to come with menus. The food took a long time to come to the table and forget getting a second cup of coffee. We literally had to ask servers as they walked by our table. One server, in particular, had to have heard us but intentionally walked by. The couple who sat at the same time we did, had the manager come over so she could formally complain at how long it took to get her order and it was wrong. Could have been a poor crew this one day, I’ll offer that. But my review stays at a very low 3.

We just had dinner for the second night in a row here, the food is exceptional and the cocktails are amazing. I had the NY Sour and it was the best cocktail I have ever had. Even though they were extremely busy on a Christmas Day the service was top notch.

Everything was great. Specialty cocktails; smoke n fire Mezcal drink and the Winter Pisco sour were great! One of the best Ribeyes I e had in a long time and we are total fine dining foodies. Service was perfect. We’ve been to some other great local restaurants here and this rates as good as any.

We stay at the Westin Mobache frequently. Last experience at the Whitebark was a disaster but the latest visit in April 2023 is showing some promising signs. The food and service has improved drastically. Hope this trend continues.
