This is by far the best Mexican restaurant I have been to in my travels, every staff member is awesome, but my favorite is Jorge. Everything I order is made to perfection. Drinks are on point and amazing. I will always come here when I am in Canton Illinois. They deserve 10 stars ⭐️

My sister and I stopped and enjoyed some margaritas and chips and salsa while we waited for our carry-out dinner. Enjoyed the drinks/snacks and attentive service. We ordered beef and chicken enchiladas and beans & rice for a family meal later. When we got home, what a major disappointment. No flavor whatsoever. Everything was bland – no spices. I gave 2 stars for the drinks and the service. I won’t be back for any meals. Truly sad – last time I ate here it was good. You need to talk to your kitchen – something is seriously wrong. I spent $80 – should have gone to Taco Bell.

Camino Real is a very good value for your money. If you are in a budget, it’s daily lunch special runs $5.99 and most lunch entrees are $7.99. I had the lunch #5 which was an enchilada, quesadilla and chalupa. The enchilada has a hefty amount of ground beef, but I wasn’t too fond of the sweeter enchilada sauce. The quesadilla was stuffed with cheese and the chalupa came with a crispy shell, both were very good. Service was fast and friendly and there is a handicapped parking spot at the front door.

Some very nice people here providing great service, but the food was not good today. Previously, maybe 6 or 7 years ago I had some good carnitas here. Should have stuck with that. Today I had the chile relleno. It was bad. Chile was not ripe, not roasted enough, seemed to be wrapped in scrambled eggs, and was stuffed with what seemed to be mozzarella cheese. Bitter, crunchy and hard to eat. taco was just meh. not much flavor. Refried beans were okay. Guacamole needed some lime and salt for my tastes. Chips were warm, served quickly and the salsa was bland.

The food is great. Every time we call in our order, it’s a consistent 10 to 15 mins, typically a 10 min drive from my home, so it works out great. We can go inside to eat after the glacier golf and accidentally drop a drink. The staff come quickly to help and even remade the drink. it was an amazing experience highly recommended place to eat
