After hearing rave reviews, I was quite disappointed with my experience at Bistro d’Azur this past weekend. Maybe it was just an off night, but not only was food delayed (like even the salads didn’t come out until 1h30+ after our arrival), but the food was subpar even when it did come. For $100 a person, I was truly expecting to be floored with the quality. Out of all the things our group ordered (which ended up being most of the menu), it is sad to say that the fries and the salad were the best part. It wasn’t just our table, but the whole restaurant was having issues and no one seemed to want to address it directly. I hope one day I can come back to adjust my review to match others on here… but for now, just be wary until things are sorted. (I will say that the hostess was incredibly kind and I’d come back just for her!)

Such lovely food. The lamb shank was succulent and well cooked. The grilled octopus was perfectly charred and an excellent mix of chewy and supple. My girlfriend ordered the lavender honey roasted duck and said it was a 10/10, & I can attest. I loved my lamb just as much. We ended with wonderful a lovely chocolate cake desert.

Love this restaurant!!! The food and service is always top notch. I’ve been here at least 5 times in the last year or so and the menu is creative and has a diverse offering of meats, seafood and veggie dishes. The atmosphere really transports you to the south of France!

I had ordered and picked up from Bistro d’Azur a few times during covid but never eaten in. I am so grateful I wound up here tonight. I don’t necessarily like having worded it that way but my mother and I had gone to another restaurant for a reservation to celebrate my birthday and walked out because the service was awful. Since we walked out of the first restaurant we needed an alternate restaurant to celebrate at. Since I loved the take out I suggested we try the dining in.

This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The ambiance and the service was exceptional. The food was fantastic. I had the lobster crepe as the first course, which was delicious – generous amount of lobster which was nice. I had the Steak Frites as my main course – the steak was cooked perfectly and the truffle frites were the best I’ve had. An overall great experience, I would definitely visit again when back in the area.
