Very cool place! And delicious food. Now that they have a larger place it is even more awesome. I love the selection of all kinds of delis, cheeses, vegetables and how they prepare your sandwich. The soups change daily and are delicious. Good stick to your ribs food. If you leave hungry…..it’s your own fault.

Wow. Just wow. I stopped in here for lunch and was so hungry, and the panini they made me was out of this world. I thought it would probably taste pretty basic, because it’s make your own sandwich and I’m not that creative, but even with the ingredients I gave they somehow made it an explosion of flavor! I highly recommend this place, and you should try the potato salad too!

One of my favorite things about my job is ordering lunch from The Filling Station, on average, three times a week. This little gem consistently turns out delicious fare from the heart of Hillsdale. I have yet to step foot inside, as we have our lunch delivered, but I pass by it on my daily commute and as a former restaurant critic I have often considered how many superb restaurants I found over the years, such as The Filling Station, that possess stardom within a humble façade.
