We were incredibly impressed with the food and prices at The Mountie Shack! Everything was hot and fresh and very good. The place is inside the BP there not far off I-85 and at 161. They do breakfast all day, weekly specials and most of the American home cooking and sandwich classics you’d expect at a little family restaurant. We’ll be back. Courteous service too!

The food was so good, down home country cooking. The Tater Puppies are on point!! Great friendly staff. Recommend whatever seasonal cobbler they have as well, it won’t make the drive home!!

I recently visited The Mountie Shack and had an amazing time. The chicken pot pie, cheese curds, and club sandwich were all delicious and satisfying. The staff members were friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The cozy atmosphere was the cherry on top. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, down-to-earth vibes, and a good time.

The burger was great. They forgot our fries, so rather than wait 10-12 more minutes, we opted for wedges off the bar. They were not good. We will try again.

WOW!!!! I never had great food from inside a gas station before. I had the cheesy spaghetti bake with mac&cheese and the cobbler. Its like grandma would make. My belly is full and brought me back to some good home cooking. I can’t wait to get more tomorrow.

An ideal hole in the wall, with a quaint southern charm. I stopped here by chance and encountered this little restaurant tucked away in this BP. So much of the food is scratch made, and you’ll know it! The white gravy is stellar, with the bacon grease base, the baked Mac and cheese with it’s subtle nutmeg hint. The sides are just incredible! The prices are more than fair, and the staff is so lovely. This encounter made my day. If I were local I wouldn’t be able to stay away from this place!

It’s not everyday I stop in Kings Mountain, but I’m glad I did. And it’s for one reason and one reason only, Mountie Shack is bonafide restaurant. Such a great start to the day! The food came out quick and it was delicious! I would 100% recommend the wedges and the ranch is ranked among the best ranches I’ve had. The biscuits are delicious and come with nicely sized portions of toppings. The customer service was great and they cared about both their craft and their customers! PLEASE GIVE THIS A TRY, YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED.
