Chen’s is the quintessential American Chinese food restaurant in the neighborhood. It’s simple in terms of setup, but complex with its flavor profile! There are some truly terrible Chinese food restaurants in the area, but Chen’s is the best! The sesame chicken is out of this world, and it’s price to match??? Unbeatable!

I live right around the corner from Chen’s Kitchen. The food there is always very good and has lots of flavor which you would hope to expect from any restaurant. What I didn’t expect is how friendly the owner of the restaurant is. Such a kind and sweet person that deserves your business. I stopped in briefly to grab some soup and at the moment they only support online orders/cash. I didn’t have any cash on me and my phone was left at home. Without hesitation she handed me some soup to bring home and said enjoy it! I was honestly shocked. I plan to continue to order from Chen’s Kitchen and so should you.

My review is for a specific order that I placed and I certainly hope that they read this. I normally buy a side order of steam dumplings when I get dinner but this time I decided to get something different and based on the picture on their menu I ordered chicken nuggets. Unfortunately what I got was an order of chicken McNuggets like chicken that was absolutely not what was pictured. With that said, I will still continue to get my food there(Chen Kitchen) because overall they are a good restaurant, but I will never buy their nuggets again.

After some Facebook recommendations for this place I decided to place an order for dinner and the food was amazing! Lo mein was great, fried rice was delicious and we loved the sesame chicken too! We had the dinner portions that came with an entree, rice choice and choice of small app or drink and the portions were huge! We were able to spread it out into 2 meals and it’s such a great value! Looking forward to trying some other items!

1st time ordering here & pleasantly surprised that their boneless spare ribs actually exceeded my expectations, which have become quite low regarding delivery in the area I live. Other places manage to serve too many poor quality gamey or overly fatty ribs many of which are practically inedible. Wasn’t the case here, I’m relieved to relay. Aside from a few small pieces there ribs were properly delicious. The complimentary egg role & PFR were also great, will order again.

Very nice people run this restaurant so it is with sad heart that have to tell you the food was not to expensive but it was also not very good. Spring Rolls were etable… The dough over the dumplings was just wrong… Very heavy and thick doughy things not a light pasta type good ones. Their chicken in my Szechuan Chicken tasted like old hen meat or rooster meat…. It seemed to be par-boil os precooked in some manor because it lacked tenderness, taste and flavor… Vegetables were overcooked and floppy…. Not many onions… The place is a bit shabby and dirty. We won’t be going back

This restaurant offers a good portion of food. I have ordered general and sesame chicken for dinner for several times. The meat is juicy and delicious all the time. The owner is very nice too. I recommend to order foods from this restaurant if you wanna have nice, ordinary, and delicious Chinese foods.
