Great location by stone Fort park, lots of parking, easy access. Perfect food after a hike in the park. The service was great, the food was great. It was nice and cool inside (summer review, probably warm in the winter). We did the meat and three option. Plenty of choices, all good. I added the coconut pie. It was perfect, tasted like summer. Apparently not made on site, but still really good.

We would love to support this local restaurant.. and our waitress was very friendly.. but after a 45-minute wait on breakfast our food came out cold, tye syrup was watery, and our ticket was $6 higher than it should have been. The waitress gave us a discount on the ticket for the food being cold, bringing it down to the correct amount.. This was our first visit and though there is a very friendly atmosphere I don’t think we will be back.

The pancake didn’t taste like a pancake…and the syrup was so watery and not even that sweet. I could not finish my pancake, my boyfriend tried to finish my pancake and even he said it wasn’t any good..the bacon was to hard. The only thing that was good was my egg.. his food was good. The waitress was really nice and gave great service.

I found this little spot while passing through. It’s a wonderful little place with good, old fashion comfort food. The server was very friendly and engaging, as well. My omelet was tasty with plenty of salty ham! I opted for biscuits/gravy over the toast and I’m sure it was the right call. I’ll be back when I’m passing through again.

This diner does not look like much from the outside but it did satisfy my primary litmus test. The parking lot was crowded. I never go to diners with plenty of parking, any more. There was plenty of seating. It smelled a little of fish which surprised me. Salmon patties were the special that day. They were a hit. Everyone around me was ordering them. I had the Carlie Burger and Fries. It was a really big burger and very good. Plenty of toppings. The biggest surprise was a LARGE order of fries. Most diners don’t give you that many. They were crinkle cut but they were still good. It would be ***** but they don’t take cards.
