We went to Casa Maya today hoping to eat lunch. My husband has type 1 diabetes and his blood sugar was a little low when we got there. So, after waiting 20 minutes to be seated I asked if we could seat ourselves. They seemed short staffed. The worker said no.

Excellent food. I had the chicken chimichanga MONSTER. It filled my plate from end to end. It was huge. The entire place is spotless. Super nice waitresses. It’s a feel good pleasant place to dine or have a party I Love it. ❤ Located in Shell Knob MO. Excellent margaritas too plus cocktail. On hwy 39. Nice Lakeview as well.. Fun place to meet up w friends.

The food is great! They need more staff, and need to open up the outdoor seating. They are always packed on the weekends and have long wait times. The staff have a hard time keeping up and sometimes you can tell they are very stressed out trying to keep up. I will continue to return here to eat when on vacation at the lake, I just hope that it gets better.

I ordered chicken fajitas and didn’t recieve any tortillas. Another member of our party ordered the enchiladas supremas and 3-4 bites in bit into a piece of thin glass. When we told the waitress she apologized and took it back and stated that we wouldn’t be charged for that entree. When we went to pay the bill we were indeed charged for the entree that included the glass. At this point the staff seemed very unconcerned with the fact that an individual had more than likely ingested glass due to their negligence. Based on this visit and the unconcerned staff I will in no way be visiting this place ever again. I would strongly suggest that anybody looking for good quality food, look elsewhere

Love this spot! We’ve been several time and have tried multiple different dishes. The food is pretty good (fried shrimp wasn’t so great, but that’s the only thing we haven’t liked), but the service is always fantastic. We go primarily for how good their service is. The Camarones a la diabla is actually spicy, which rarely happens in areas like this. Really enjoy Casa Maya!

Excellent food. Hot, Fresh, well seasoned! Salsa was great with just the right kick but not too hot. Cheese dip best I have had in Missouri. Service was very friendly and fast!
