The waitress was absolutely perfect, especially by herself for the whole restaurant

Trent was incredible! We had been waiting a while because our original waitress hadn’t seen us for about 20 minutes. I saw trent walking by and told him the situation. He took our order and made sure we had everything we needed the rest of the evening. Dude knows his stuff!

We like Jefe because they have a lot of options we can’t get at our hometown Mexican joints. The Torte is amazing! I really like the food here but the service can be pretty spotty. We didn’t seem to be too bothered by it though because the food is just outstanding!

Went there on taco night. $1 Street tacos were decent, and a good value… Basically what one would get from a taco truck. I had to wait forever for a table (15 minutes.. No sitting room). Servers were pretty brisk with me, but that could in part be due to my going in at 8pm after a long day.

Trent was great! We had been waiting for a while to order, he noticed and came over and got us taken care of! We have 3 kids so you can imagine how restless they were getting.

Our server for our drink orders incorrect, we ordered frozen drinks and were given on the rocks without our knowledge and were charged 1$ extra for flavor additive. We were not notified that the frozen machine was not working or we would have cancelled our drink order. The food received was incorrect and the cheese in my chili relleno was not melted. The meals except 1 did not include rice or beans, my husband’s order was completely incorrect and the flavor wasn’t where it should have been. I really wanted this to be a good review, but after spending almost 100$ on a meal and half of it being incorrect and not we’ll prepared it’s hard to. Sorry guys.

Mexican food is my favorite and I have had one certain place that just couldn’t be beat for decades. I’ve tried almost everywhere and usually I’m like that wasn’t bad but it’s just not nearly as good as my favorite place. Well after many many many years and many places, I’ve have found my new home for Mexican food! Jefe’s was delicious!!!! The entre was a variety taco dinner. It consisted of 2 crispy tacos, 2 soft tacos, 2 deep fried tacos, and 2 street tacos. They were a mix and match of some containing steak strips, some with ground beef, and some with shredded chicken. The meat portions big and the tacos were stuffed full. They were served on like a wooden paddle with pegs running down the center and the tacos were placed between the pegs. Separated each from another between pegs and it kept them sitting upright. The flavor in each of them was unbelievable. They were so full of flavor yet not to spicy for those that are heat sensitive. For those that like to spice it up, their salsa was the best I’ve ever had anywhere ( which was my favorite thing at my previous favorite, they had that beat too ) I ordered draft beer and it was served in a big icy cold mug with a salted rim dipped in red and green salts and a lime wedge.

Salsa was phenomenal along with the pollo con Queso. Would highly recommend. Service was a tad slow just because there really was only one guy running the tables.

Staff were pretty much indifferent about service. Food was predictable, like most cookie-cutter Mexican food places. Nothing remarkable to draw me back.
