Under new owners, food was okay but not worth it, tacos no longer $1 on taco Tuesday they are $1.75. The staff even though she wrote things down kept forgetting to bring our order. We had to keep remind her. Come check out time the math was WAY OFF WANTED TO CHARGE US %15 gratuity. They charge a 3.5% for using card. We use to love coming to this restaurant before this new ownership.

“Taco Tuesday” doesn’t seem like it’ll be the same ever again. We used to go and the service was top notch, the tacos were delicious and the atmosphere was fun and lively. This time around however something was different. Besides walking in and being informed that the tacos were no longer $1 but $1.75, the atmosphere was bland. We usually would receive the house soup as we sat down, this time around we didn’t. And thats when we were informed that the ownership had changed. Well unfortunately we were disappointed heavily this time around. It seems as if the new owners are trying to squeeze every penny from anything sold with no regard to the customers that kept the original restaurant afloat. I understand inflation. I get that. But the change was drastic to say the least. If price goes up, any sane person would expect for food quality, service, and atmosphere to go up as well. One without the other doesn’t make to much sense. When it came to splitting the bill it was a mess trying to figure out who paid for what and there were only 2 parties. Treated us as one group so an additional 15% “gratuity” was automatically added. 15% was added to each of our bills. Like i said, it seems like now the new owners are trying to squeeze the most money out of anything sold without regard to anything else.

There was a bad odor outside, in this part of town, but when we entered the restaurant one of the first things I noticed was that it smelled clean. The place was clean. The waitress was friendly, we look forward to seeing her again. Food was great, salsa and sauces each had their own distinct flavors. The corn tortillas are homemade and some of the best I’ve tasted. One dinner could of fed both of us! Here you get quality and quantity!
