Recommended! We went for the second time and love it again. Kids got a super burrito, huge! So they split it this time. I loved my carnitas in red sauce, husband enjoyed his dos equis (XX) and the beef chimichanga was great! Three rounds of chips and salsa, good as expected. Menu has plenty of options under $20. We wish we could have sat outside, but a booth inside was fine too.

My wife and I are so glad that we gave Cinco de Mayo a try. The people there were very sweet and accommodating and the atmosphere was great and service was excellent but the food honestly blew us away. I got the crispy tacos which were very good but my wife got the Poblano Burrito which was hands down the best burrito that either of us had ever tasted. All of the flavors in our dishes were deep and delicious but that burrito was insanely good. In fact, we put half of it in the fridge for three days and when we reheated it, it was still delicious!

Authentic delicious food and great drinks. I recommend the ceviche tostada or chicken tacos.

The first thing you look forward to when you sit to eat in a Mexican restaurant is chips and salsa. The chips were broken, and a little stale, and when I asked to replace the chips got the same thing again. The waiter looked like he didn’t want to be there. His service was horrible. The chips should have been an omen. My fish tacos were lettuce tacos. It had a sauce on them that was a little slimy. The ceviche was dried. It was pico de Gallo and shrimp and brown avocados. The margarita was an icerita. My husband enjoyed his steak, and the rice and beans were ok. I ate one and half tacos and left the rest. Did not take a doggie bag home the first time for me. Never going back. Waste of money.

We had a great meal at Cinco De Mayo in Palencia! My husbands enchiladas were perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The guacamole and salsa were also delicious!! We have been to all 4 of the local restaurants in the area – and this is our favorite! They were very accommodating despite us walking in within an hour of closing. We will definitely be back and will bring friends!

We loved this place. Very clean and welcoming. The western decor is gorgeous. Not that we don’t love the more colorful decor most Mexican restaurants have, but this was just the best I’ve ever seen. The food was delicious and fairly priced. I forgot to take pictures but the tacos al pastor were plated very nicely. The staff, super friendly. All in all, an excellent find.

We enjoyed our first visit to Cinco De Mayo at Palencia! The chicken Molcajete we ordered was beyond delicious – not to mention the huge portion that’s enough for 2 or 3! Our server Yander has such a positive attitude and made us feel welcome, as he has always done in the past at another restaurant we used to visit in St. Augustine! We were pleasantly surprised to reconnect with Yander at Cinco De Mayo this time. Thank you for your great service, amigos!
