Okay so for starters my ribs and hot links were saturated in barbecue sauce. And the sauce was nasty. I got the yams . They literally looked like someone opened them out the can and scooped some on my plate. I don’t even know where to begin about the Mac & pepper noodles I received . This one hurts because I support black owned businesses, but we need to do better. Unfortunately, I will not be going back.

This was my first and probably last time here. I wanted the brisket, well it was still cooking. Then chose the hot links, ribs,yams and baked beans. I did not smell much of a bbq smell. But ordered anyway. Everything had no flavor. I would love to help out to make this a better place.

I’ll give you one reason to come to this hidden gem of Moreno Valley: IT’S THE BARBECUE SAUCE!!!! AUTHENTIC, TIME HONORED TRADITION, FROM MICHIGAN TO CALIFORNIA. Another reason: THE PORTIONS! I buy one $20 plate and I have lunch for the week with the right tupperware. Cafeteria prices are out of control right now with these INFLATED prices so I think outside the box. If you are in Moreno Valley come and get some authentic Barbecue Sunnymead Boulevard just east of Frederick adjacent to the Moreno Valley Mall. DELICIOUS!

This was nasty. Drenched in sauce to hide the fact it was no flavor. Unseasoned and very bland. The brisket was carne asada meat and the prices are ridiculously high but you try and support black business. I would say please step it up cause this was ridiculous.

This place does not even need a one star the food was horrible the ribs was salty the sauce was terrible.. the macaroni and cheese was color noodles with pepper the yams smh and the greens have mercy .. I try to support black business but this place makes it very hard … I should have known when the menu was scribbled on a white board and the worker didn’t know how to take the order

Too much watery barbecue sauce the sides were horrible and the prices were too high to be a new shop with small portions. Try it once I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Worst BBQ EVER meat wasn’t seasoned, no dry rub, membrane wasn’t cut off the ribs, ribs were burnt, saturated in BBQ sauce, can greens no flavor at all, beans and mac and cheese was just ok
