We came here for Mother’s Day lunch. We have been here many times in the past and loved it. Today, our margaritas tasted like rotten limes and the food came out burnt. The fries were so burnt we couldn’t bite through them. We also ordered Goons that were burnt and tasted odd. The aujus was pure grease with chunks of garlic in it. We are so disappointed.

Food is great but service is awful. Servers are very slow and unreliable at doing their job. I have gone a few times, all on different days of the week at different times with different servers. Each time seems to be the same slow, teeth pulling experience. Whether the place is packed or there’s only one other table, same story. My last experience was the worst and I will never be back. As someone who works in the food/service industry, standing unacknowledged while the greeters have their own personal conversation doesn’t make a great impression to me. It seemed inconvenient for him to stop his personal conversation and clear one of many dirty tables so we could sit and eat. Open seating is fine when there’s clean tables to sit at. Then to be forgotten about the rest of our meal is very disappointing. I can find fried overpriced food with kind, hospitable service somewhere else.

Growler’s Taphouse is a great place to stop for a beer and a bite to eat. I tried the Stool Pigeon chicken sandwich and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The beer was also great, and I enjoyed sitting outside listening to live music. I was here at about 5pm and I would say it was still kid friendly at this hour. I would definitely recommend Growler’s Taphouse to anyone looking for a great place to relax and enjoy a drink and a meal.

Had the nachos. Tortilla chips were freshly made, & crispy. Like all southwestern restaurants, expect a little heat in your meal. They didn’t overdo it though. Messy and delicious. Only reason they didn’t get 5 stars, had to do with my own personal tastes. Staff was friendly and attentive.

My mom and I came here for the first time and we decided we probably will not go back because our experience wasn’t the greatest. Most surfaces inside were sticky and when we ordered a burger we were not asked how we wanted the burger and it came out a bit too pink along with fries that tasted like they’d been sitting out all day yet the food took a while to come out… just not a good experience for us unfortunately.

Consistently bad burgers, the outside is charred and tastes burnt. Not consistently cooked throughout, wouldn’t be surprised if these patties are frozen. The fries are always over fried to the point of tasting like a chip. The chairs weigh 200 pounds and are hard as a rock. The food is all served on charcuterie boards so good luck not getting your burger grease all over the table. But if you need some beers, they do excel there.
