We normally try to avoid chains but decided to give Newk’s a try, since it was nearby and we were in a sandwich mood. I’m glad we did because it was a great experience. The restaurant manager personally greeted us when we walked in and helped us with their new ordering kiosk. The employee that brought our food out was very friendly and made the kids laugh. The food definitely hit the spot and was reasonably priced.

Friendly staff, tasty food, prices a bit high ($38 for 2 lunch soup& salad and a sandwich + 2 sodas). Double club was just okay, on a sub roll with a rolled selection of meats. Loaded baked potato soup was delicious. Shrimp salad with a spicy remoulade type sauce was very good, this was a premium item so +3/+1.5 addition on the pick 2.

We got takeouts a few days ago and loved it. Staffs were so friendly. I ordered spicy chicken pizza and a chicken salad sandwich. They were delicious and the best for two people. My favorite is pizza. The crust is thin and super yummy. I recommend this place for your future takeouts.

Great place for a quick eat. I ordered pickup here and got the sausage and pepperoni pizza and the pasta salad. Both were delicious. The pizza is definitely worth the $13. It wasn’t a super good pizza but it was one that definitely tasted great. Also, coming into the restaurant the staff was super nice. A few of them said hello and welcomed me and one of them got my order off the shelf for me. Overall, a great experience!

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and drink. Pizza had very fresh tasting sauce, and the Diet Coke was excellent, not overly carbonated. The meal also arrived in a very timely manner. We will be back!

I haven’t been at Newk’s since they first opened. No particular reason other than it not the first thing that comes to mind since there are so many options for dining in the Crofton/Gambrills area. I decided to go down memory lane and I forgot how tasty their sandwiches were. Their bread were warm, crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside. We had their Chicken Salad and The Italian sandwiches. Both were absolutely delicious. Customer service was also on point. Definitely will be back soon.

We really enjoy coming to Newk’s, much better than Panera and same price. Great customer service and we especially enjoy Ryan’s hospitality. The salads are very big and the soups are fresh and delicious. The macaroni in cheese is great for kids, it is baked hot and fresh. They also have really nice drink cups that we continue to use at our house. We also really like the Splenda Ice Tea. Very glad to have this restaurant in our neighborhood.
