We were looking for Friday fish fry and Canadian Honker did not disappoint. It was a litter on the higher side of cost $26 but it was all you can eat and it included shrimp, choice of potato side and soup. I opted for the clam chowder and my son ordered salad. Batter on fish n shrimp was a good beer batter. My daughter had the cranberry feta wrap and seemed to enjoy it as well. We did opt for outdoor seating so I can not speak to the atmosphere as we only walked in to be seated.

Great place for lunch. I have been here twice for lunch and it has been fantastic. Very friendly staff and great service. I had the Reuben sandwich today with chips. Great tang on the corned beef. Saw the peanut butter pie and had to order that as well. It was fantastic. Like every restaurant in Rochester, it’s a Pepsi account.

Awesome restaurant. We visited back last fall and knew just where we wanted to dine while visiting again. Both times was very pleasant, food was delicious right down to desert, servers and waiters very nice. I had the ice cream off the apple crisp due to a diet restriction my mom had for the evening and she shared part of the crisp with me which was actually a full plater of crisp so this picture is not an actual serving.

Looks like breakfast is where this place may be good for, sadly we only had the lunch and dinner menu. Everyone was really nice and helpful. We ordered the hot turkey sandwich and it was huge. The bad part was the the gravy and turkey had a bitter and metallic taste. We also ordered the club sandwich turned into a wrap and that was pretty good. The inside reminded me of a breakfast diner and it was clean.

We flew into Rochester for an upcoming surgery at Mayo Clinic and wanted a yummy meal – comfort food specifically! We found that and more at Canadian Honkers! I had the sirloin, onions, scalloped potatoes and salad…. My husband had the Bacon Burger and our some the kids cheeseburger which was so nice! All of the food was amazing!! Perfect! And the service – top notch! The following day, Memorial Day we went for breakfast and the pancakes and French toast were amazing!! They also had a special table set up set up in memory of all fallen American soldiers – a POW – MIA ceremony table as well as their servers wearing a patriotic button down shirt. Very classy and kind and the food! Run to Canadian Honkers – you will not be disappointed!

The eggs Benedict and salmon Benedict was amazing! Great atmosphere, we sat outside with our dog and the waitress brought her a water bowl. Definitely come here.

This was our first time visit to this restaurant based on an excellent recommendation from someone else that had eaten at this place in the past. This is a fabulous restaurant with excellent food and our server. Christopher was awesome. Best hamburger I’ve ever had in my wife said it was the best chicken strip she’s ever eaten. The highlight was the coconut cake as it was so delicious and moist. We will definitely be back when we’re back in Rochester soon.

One of Rochester best places for breakfast. Has a great location across the street from St Marys hospital. Walk out the North entrance to access easily on second street. Parking options available too.

Fresh, simply prepared food. Most dishes have flavors that tend toward the mild side. Good selections that will please everyone. Creamy and cheese dishes maybe a bit too rich for some, but there are many lighter choices on the menu. Located just across the street from Mayo St Mary’s campus it’s very convenient for anyone visiting or working there.
