Yes, it looks like a hole-in-the-wall type place but that is exactly why I found it appealing. I would’ve eaten outside but the tables were full when I got my breakfast. Busy place this exquisite Saturday morning with drive-thrus, carry-outs and eat-ins. My service was efficient and very friendly!

Granny’s nice local restaurant. Limited menu listed, but swear I saw fried okra but not on menu board. Not all prices listed. Picture cheeseburger and fries $9.35. I have no idea how much the fries cost because it wasn’t on the menu board. The burger was delicious but I felt for $3, 12 fries was a little skimpy.

Pop in, order at the counter, cash only. Staff is friendly, tables could be cleaner, food comes out quickly and is well prepared. The home fries were A+. Everything comes on disposable plates and plastic utensils and single serving jams, even when you’re dining in. The biscuit was too salty for me, the bacon and eggs were well cooked but weren’t great quality.

We were in Asheville with 4 adults and 3 kids and everyone loved our breakfast at Granny’s Kitchen (and the price!). The women who work there are friendly and kind. Do not hesitate to go here based on the appearance – the best breakfast by far that we had in Asheville (we even liked it more than Biscuit Head!).
