My son brought me here because he thought I’d like it, and he was right! Delicious, savory food recommended by expert waiter. Good sign to see so many Middle Easterners here – authentic food.

8 years since I was in Yeman so was looking forward to getting some of my favorite foods and share it with my family. Good selection on the menu. Our meals were very good. It was just as I had hoped it was.

Authentic Yemenese food minutes from Downtown Raleigh… We tried the Kofta Kebab Lahem Platter – Ground Beef and Lamb Kebabs on a bed of buttered rice… This was delicious…

Food was okay, the chicken is not good and the lamb chops are charred so much that they don’t taste good. The rest of the food was okay – the salud and soup was mediocre. We had to wait 45 minutes for our food and it is not worth the wait at all.

First of all, service was so slow on the day we visited. So that’s a bummer especially when you were hungry for some Yemeni food.

The service was rushed and the food was largely not very good. One can see the picture at the end of the dinner attached to this review.

We were very impressed by the food here! We got Fahsah Dajaj (stewed chicken, left) and Kabsa Dajaj (chicken with spiced rice, right), and they were both incredible! The rice in the Kabsa Dajaj was bright red and extremely flavorful, and everything was served with fresh bread to scoop with. We also got mint lemonades which were smooth and refreshing.

Was there with family looking to dine in but no table available to seat 5 because it was full so, we decided to take out instead. We ordered Lahem Haneeth, Mix grilled, Kofta kebab, Dajaj kabsa & Zurbian dajaj for a total of $119 which was kind of expensive.
