The empanadas/pastelitos were really good. The first time I had the chicken and the egg roll. The chicken one reminded me of my late Mami’s. The seasoning was perfect. Thought I was eating my mom’s stash. The egg roll was true to an egg roll taste. I had the Mint Lemonade, it’s not sweet but also not bitter. It’s perfect, very refreshing in my opinion. The second time (lol a few days later) I had the philly which was paired with a small thing of cheese wiz and another egg roll. If you have time, definitely check them out.

Hotpanada is a killer food truck that tucks itself away in a back corner of what used to be the K Mart shopping center at the corner of Kuser and White Horse Ave. If you see a line a dozen or more deep when you arrive, don’t despair, the line moves quickly!

Best empanadas in the area. They really out do themselves every time. We love the Philly, Cuban, pizza and apple pie. Philly is my #1 fave with mint limeade. Get there early. The line is long and the bests sell fast. Great staff!!! Kids love ringing the bell

Love it here. I go to them every week and their empanadas are always amazing. I’ve suggested two friends to try them too and they both loved it as well and go to them frequently. I don’t know her name but the lady who takes the orders is amazing. She always remembers my order and is so nice. Their sauces are amazing as well. Overall, they’re kind with great food and I’ll be going to them for a while.

Our friend Ryan told us about this place and when we finally tried it we were not disappointed, we have tried several different fillings and my favorite is the shrimp empanada. Even when there is a line it moves quickly and the conversation with other customers is positive and friendly. Looking forward to trying more fillings in future visits.

Excellent customer service! Delicious and reasonably priced empanadas!! My favorite are the Shrimpanada and the Rice empanada. The red sauce they make is so garlicky and has a nice little kick. I could drink it straight it’s amazing!! The Churros I highly recommend!!!

Their Sloppy Joe empanada is the best empanada I ever had in my life. Phenomenal taste, it’s out of this world how much love and flavor you taste in their empanadas. Their friendly customer service is excellent as well. We just tried this food truck out for the first time last week, and our family is hooked on these empanadas. Especially the sloppy Joe empanadas. They are excellent!

The chicken empanada, and rice and beans empanada was amazing and delicious. First time customer and I rung the bell after the first bite. It’s definitely worth the drive. The passion fruit drink was delicious too. Going back ASAP. They were polite and the service was fast. Must go try for yourself.
