In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

I’m not the one to risk anyone’s job but the service I received from here on my last visit was the worse I’ve seen in fast food. This young lady in this photo HATES her job and she had no issue showing it to the customer. Extremely rude, kept huffing and puffing, yelling out the window as I’m waiting on my food complaining about how many cars keep pulling up in the driveway and it was only 2am when this location closes at 4am. The staff didn’t have any rhythm at all of trying to push the food out to the customers. The lead for the night was cursing out loud being completely unprofessional.10 mins went by and everyone avoid coming back to the window and the lead member finally came and said “why are you still here”. I waited for my food for almost 20 mins as they huffed puffed complained and totally neglected servicing the guest and delivering food to the guest. It’s checkers I come to this location all the time and I don’t expect 5 start steakhouse experience at fast food but what I saw with my own eyes, these associates should not be handling people’s food, it’s scary and distasteful that people work for a job and don’t actually want to work and complain Infront of the customers out loud ! The only person that was working was the older woman who doesn’t speak much English but literally was the only one working hard.

On Sunday, May 28, at 11:08 p.m., I ordered one of their meals in the drive-through. Then, at the drive-up window, a person wearing a uniform different from the other employees (so maybe a manager) told me the total, and I knew the amount she told me was higher than it was supposed to be. When I said that to her, she harshly gave me the easy answer: “taxes.” I knew taxes would not bring the total up to that amount. I asked her for a receipt, which she obviously had not given to me. On the receipt, on which you could barely see the information (the receipt number may be DS281), I saw she charged me a different amount for the meal and had also charged me for an item I had not ordered or received.

Terrible customer service. This employee was rude to my wife. He also had straws in his mouth while prepping the food and talking to customers (disgusting). When I confronted the shift manager about it, she defended the employee and took almost an hr to give me the store managers info. Only to find that she gave me fake information. I feel bad for Olivia the store manager. She deserves better. This is possibly the worst Checkers in S. Florida.
