First let me say that the majority of the positive reviews are from Big Woodys(which we loved). We have ordered takeout wings 2 different times and both times they were horrible. The first order we didn’t even get the right order and they blamed it on us. This time the same my hubby ordered bone in wings. Came home with boneless. That wasn’t the worst part…waited 1 hour and comes home with wings that were dripping grease. He opened the bag and grease poured out of the bag. The wings were disgusting and we will never go back. Save your money. Wish they had the option for no stars!!!

The stage area (behind the bands) could be more exciting. We like this fun bar a lot. We also really enjoyed watching the riverboyz band. They are extremely talented. And we enjoyed the cocktails a lot. The outdoor area near the front is nice too. Fun place overall

Possibly the worst service I’ve ever had in any restaurant. First of all, their hours are listed wrong on all of their platforms. Second of all the server was passive aggressive the entire time. She messed up our order which we asked to be packed for take out since the hours were wrong and we didn’t want to impose. And once we realized the order was wrong she said she couldn’t do anything because the kitchen was closed. I had to get my own silverware and napkins for our apps. I’ve been to this establishment many times before it was Beach Barracudas and tonight’s experience will be the last. I work in the industry and I know service of this kind is absolutely unacceptable in any restaurant. If you care at all about your business get your staff right. Not to mention the food was not as good as it used to be. If I could give 0 starts I would. This is Sunday, July 23, pm server b.

I need to update my review. My spouse and I went last night, our one shot each cost half of what a bottle would cost but was half of what any other local place would provide. There was a bartender in training and then her trainer was rude to both of us, so we canceled our food order paid for our sad shots and left us to go to another local option.

We have been loyal customers of Big Woody’s for over a decade now. We have had homecoming parties here and multiple command functions here. Since switching over to Beach Barracudas, it has just gone downhill. The food quality has gone down. And now, to top it off, without telling you, they add a 20% Service fee on all takeout orders. So on a bill of $50 they charge you $10 just to box it up in Styrofoam. There is no justification for this other than the fact they are clearly losing business and are trying to make up the money. They have lost long-term customers in us just for that fact. We will be driving to Big Woody’s in Chesapeake from here on out.

Food was alright, kids got BTLs, I got a chicken wrap but I thought the chicken could of been cooked more. I was excited about the sweet potato fries, they were in waffle form but the down fall was the mass amount of burnt brown sugar they had put on them that took the sweet potato falvor away. If they would of sprinkled only a little bit after they pulled from the fryer or a dab of honey over them *chef kiss* would of been perfect. Husband loved the fish and chips. They had a live band going inside or you could sit on the deck. Inside could of been updated and smelled of stale beer when you first walked in but wasn’t overpowering to smell it throughout our supper.

The food was good. The bartenders told me it’s $8.00 a tequila shot then charged me $10 each. 1. Either let me know. 2. Make it right. You just gave me some dumb explanation of this being a new higher grade tequila. Alright but you told me a different price so that’s your fault. Make it right.
