Just off-campus at Belmont this is a great spot! Good quality coffee and food. Breakfast burrito is a solid choice! Lots of space inside and out!

Bongo Java is at the middle of our 30 mile bike ride, so we always carb up with some pastries and cool down with an Ice Latte. Don’t get there too late or the pastries will be gone! Always good, always busy and always cool.

This place is a cornerstone and a gem with delicious, coffee, food, friendly and welcoming staff. It can get crowded (because it’s so good) so sometimes the line is out the door,.but totally worth the wait! The avocado toast is delicious.

I love Bongo!! I’ve been going there for years and it remains my cozy, favorite spot. Great people, great coffee, and a great business!

Won’t be going back. Got our drink wrong and both had clumps of white in them. They changed the size of drink they got wrong which was nice. Pop tart was WAY too much cinnamon. They also forgot bacon on my bagel and she didn’t believe I got bacon and went back to check my order and acted surprised when I actually did order bacon… they fixed it but food was very mediocre, coffee wasn’t really good, and the salad was such a sad salad. Was sad our original choice next door was closed and hoped we would like this but we didn’t.

Today was my last visit to Bongo. I’ve been coming here for 10 years and this place has dramatically increased prices (much more than comparable with other restaurants’ understandable inflation-responsive price increases) and seriously decreased its quality. After having to repeat my simple order to the cashier, the point of sale system prompted me to tip 30%. THIRTY PERCENT. My $4 side of hash browns was way over spiced and oiled and amounted to about a quarter of a russet potato (imagine paying $0.60 for a russet and then charging people $16 for that same potato and claiming the price increase is inflation and labor and spices. Like. YIKES BRO do you even economics?) Black coffee only arrived after having to go up to the counter again. Food arrived without utensils or napkins. I’m more sad than mad. RIP to a formerly great Nashville institution.

Perfect spot for coffee on the go or to sit down and enjoy a pastry/light breakfast! I really enjoyed my cappuccino and wish I had time to stop by one more time before heading home!

We got the Milky Way latte, strawberry fields lemonade, and the warm and fuzzy latte.

Ordered meat and three. Hash browns were undercooked, white and soggy. Sourdough toast was dry and without butter or any other spread. Bathroom had cute sign saying “man, woman, gorilla, whatever, just wash your hands” yet soap dispenser was broken and bathroom was very dirty. Menu is way overpriced for cheap breakfast foods. Suggested tip ranges from 20%-30% for a place where you place your order at the counter, bus your own dishes, and refill your own water cup.
