My family’s been living in Saugus for 20+ years. We’ve been ordering from Hong Kong express since they open! Never not once had an issue! Until today, we ordered a PuPu plater for 3, the delivery is always quick with them and never an issue, we pay, get the food bring it inside, open the bag and pull everything out, we notice we’re missing a few items that normally come in the meal. So I call to let them know and they lady is hesitant and tells me “send picture” to the number she spells out to me. I send picture of the food and she texts me back saying “girl put order right” I wasn’t asking for money back just wanted the items we were missing. Never got our food, never got a response. Told them we were good with there services. Couldn’t believe they didn’t help us. Food is great but customer service is horrible.

We always get the luncheon or dinner special with the Egg Foo Yong. They give you 2 pieces and put the gravy on the side. Always fresh and excellent. Sometimes, the wait is a little long, but it’s totally worth it.

Found this place after new years eve due to Kowloon completely bombing our order and selling us horrible oil logged food. It turned out to be worth the 100 dollar loss because we found Hong Kong Express. My family loves this place. Everything we have tried has been delicious!

Visiting hubby in Saugus and was looking for a good Chinese restaurant for lunch. I went to them based on the stars. 4 stars is only because they gave 1 soy sauce. Great restaurant! The food tastes like the old school Chinese food I grew up on…Delish!

The food is good here but the person answering the phone needs to be trained a lot better. Keeps cutting you off while putting your order in to answer another call. Never repeats what you just ordered and forget about getting a total on your order. Stop rushing to get a million orders and give the person your talking to your full attention ! If you want more than one small duck sauce make sure you let them know. Their first concern is not giving you enough duck sauce but making sure you need to pay for more.
