You know a restaurant is good if you question whether you want to try another of the 110+ nearby restaurants or come back the next night. And seriously…we questioned that…haven’t actually decided yet. The shrimp appetizer was amazing and the crab legs OH SO FRESH! Even the sides and dessert (specifically salted caramel cheesecake) are worthy of mention. And then to top it all off, we received incredibly welcoming and friendly service from Shannon. I am so glad we came and I’m sure we will be back. Maybe this trip….maybe next!

Local rumor about the return of Bahama Bob’s after being closed by a July 2023 fire is that it won’t be back this year. Local news and rumor is that it hopes to return in time for the 2024 tourist season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). In the meantime, Gulf Shores is without one of its very favorite restaurants for high quality seafood and exemplary service. Highly recommended (when they return).

Bahama Bob’s was great! The food was delicious. The wait was about 30 minutes but totally worth it. You can always have a drink from the bar while you’re waiting. It seems to be a spot that is visited by locals and tourists alike. It is right on the beach! If I visit Gulf Shores again, I will definitely have to come back!

From Missouri and here on vacation. Do yourself a favor and get the Bahama Bob’s Burger. So freaking good!! And the fries had great flavor too. Great service. Overall, good experience. I recommend eating here and getting the Bahama Bob’s Burger.
