We tried this place for the first time since it replaced Nola and we were blown away by how delicious the food was! They had Mantu (dumplings) off menu that were so fabulous, I’ll probably order those for just myself next time. I had lamb kabobs which were tender and yummy and my husband had beef kabob, which he really enjoyed. I was even surprised that the rice was so flavorful! The service was also really stellar, super kind employees. We’ll definitely be back.

Just wonderful. We saw that Noosh had replaced the previous restaurant in this location and had never tried Afghan cuisine before. We took our family with two very young children and really liked it. I had meant to take a photo of my meal before I ate, but before I knew it it was half gone. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere really welcoming. We will be back and hope you go try it too!

Very tasty food, unlike anything I’ve tried before. Some similarities to Mediterranean, Eastern European, and Indian food.

Outside of the Detroit area, You’ll be hard pressed to find any form of Middle Eastern food let alone Afghani. The menu isn’t huge but with prices the way they are in todays market (July 2023) I don’t blame them one bit. I travel all over the country and while I’ve been gone this wonderful restaurant with the most polite staff I’ve seen for some time has been reccomeded to me non stop. I probably shouod have gone with something a bit more traditional, but I will never pass the opportunity to pass up a house burger.

We stopped in one night curious as to what was on the menu and we were very impressed! The eggplant dish was heavenly and seasoned so well. The beans and rice pudding were also top notch. They were so kind too, we will definitely go again!

First trip to Noosh, and we were very impressed! I ordered the Burani, which was eggplant slices with a really fresh-tasting tomato puree and yogurt garlic sauce which came with some soft, crusty bread, and then a bowl of the Noosh soup and a side salad. The salad had a really nice tangy dressing and chopped cilantro on top, and the soup was a chicken and chickpea soup that was nice and flavorful – I think it had mint and dill in it? I also got the dough – a salty yogurt drink with little chunks of cucumber. It was very tasty! My friends also got the chaplee beef patties and the bollani potato “quesadilla,” which were both wonderful. We finished our meal with the firni pudding, which was so creamy and full of cardamom flavor! Perfect way to end the meal. We will definitely be back!

Just had a lunch at the halal Noosh Afghan restaurant off Saginaw highway on waverly. What a pleasant surprise. Tasty and flavorful food, nice and clean place to sit both outside and inside. It’s like a fast food place where you have to order from the menu first but they bring the food to your table. There used to be a bistro here. The owner is very friendly and was asking for feedback. He came to USA just seven years ago. We told him to have a catering menu and may want to add a meat dish with gravy. The prices are very reasonable. A must visit place!
