This is the best soul food in Charlotte! The food was hot, fresh, plentiful and delicious. I ordered the 2 pork chops, greens and potatoe salad. Rice or mashed potatoes and bread came with the meal. The chops were fat and juicy, not the little thin ones. The greens….cooked to perfection. Really this was enough food for 2 people. Customer service was great also. My new favorite place to eat.

Tried for the first time yesterday. It was delicious. I had 2 Porkchop’s , macaroni, and cheese rice, and cornbread. This is easily the some of the best soul food I have had. As for the red velvet cake I had for dessert. It didn’t really taste like anything to me honestly. I would definitely visit this establishment again. Thank you for being here 🙂

The food is delicious and service is fast. The owner is also very nice. Our group got some meals and sides of Mac and cheese to go. Their polite little son is there learning the ropes. It was wonderful to see his dad guiding him. The atmosphere is casual and family oriented. We all plan on going back. Prices are great.

Ken Cooks is amazing! The food is always fresh, hot, and cooked to order on most meat items. Sundays are crazy busy so if you are going that day get there early before she runs out of food. You always get more than enough food.

So one of my employees told me about this place and let me say Kens did not disappoint! Food is on 1000! Hands down reminds you of your grandma’s Sunday dinner. I order the below for dinner because I didn’t know how big the portions was. Now I ordered the Frieda salmon with cabbage and broccoli casserole and after the first bite I didn’t stop until it was gone. I was full and have to save the other plate for the next day. Great service! Amazing food and now my office has decided this is will be our ordering spot for Thursdays. You MUST check out the place!
