The service is good, I like the food in general. Hot and sour soup is also warm and has flavor. Portions are large but Mongolian beef has a lot of onion. A lot of sauce with the meals. I would dial back the salt for all the meals. Maybe I’ll come back on an empty stomach.

My wife and I have been customers here for years and are always happy with our food and service. That said, today 8/15/2023 they had their all star team cooking. Our meal was phenomenal. I will always recommend Ba Dar to anyone looking for a good Chinese dinner.

Went with a friend for the first time for both of us last night. Bright large tastefully decorated space with lovely artwork. A combination of booths and tables made for ample seating. Friendly attentive staff. The menu was extensive, and everything smelled wonderful. We started with Rangoon crab rolls – delicate and delicious. I had Mongolian fish, my friend a Combination Mongolian platter. Ordered vegetarian fried rice in addition to the white rice.

The 2 times I ate here recently, I ordered 2 separate items, and both were coated in a gravy type sauce. The “Teriyaki sauce” isn’t worth spending the money on. The service is incredibly slow. They do have a good amount of people in when I went.

I was with a group totalling eight and the service and friendliness of the staff was wonderful. We ate our food family style so I was able to try many different dishes. One person in my group said that walnut chicken was the best she’d ever had. I plan to return!

This restaurant used to be my favorite but since Covid quality is dropping along with flavor. My recent order we requested extra spice on all the dishes and none had any. We didn’t even receive our fortune cookies nor any flavor packs. Overall food was OK but apparently they were out of spice and flavor today. Being Mothers Day and spending 100 bucks for 3 I was disappointed. This is my last time, there’s just to many better choices. Real shame…
