I really enjoyed my dish, the shrimp was delicious! There were 5 big shrimp perfectly cooked with a little spicy flavor, the onion tasted good and also the mushrooms in it. I also liked the chips which were warm when they served it. Friendly nice service, colorful decorations. Food portion big, had to take a big box home.

Super delicious! The Lady at the Depoe Bay location, said that the Lincoln City location has non store bought handmade tortillas! So the next time I’m in Lincoln City, that’s where I am eating! Anyhow, I went to the location in Newport, because that’s where my Hotel was. I ordered the small combo, which consisted of one Tamale, Rice & Beans. The meal came with Chips & Salsa. I could only eat half, because it was huge! Very, very good however. I can’t wait to try other items on their menu! Very nice folks & their Refried Beans are the best I’ve had in years. My Tamale had Chicken in it & wasn’t the least bit spicy, which is exactly how I like it, not spicy!

Ordered the Taco Salad Cazuela (W/ SHELL) for $18.50. I think it was originally something like eleven bucks to start, but I got steak as a substitute and had them add black beans, which apparently they don’t normally add… oh! And there’s some kind of a sauce that’s typically on the dish, which I asked to be put on the side. Pretty sure it was just omitted all together as I couldn’t find anything of the sort when I got home. Anyways, the food smelled excellent and actually tasted very good as well…. Not like knock your socks off mind blowingly amazing, but super tasty and I’d most definitely eat here again.

I ordered chicken fajitas which I usually do at every Mexican restaurant I go to. I thought they looked like they had sauce on them and was not very optimistic. I was wrong. Best dang fajitas I’ve ever had. I also dislike spicy stuff but the salsa was so delicious. My fiancé loved his food. The chips were so yummy. I’ll be eating here every time I come to town. Please tell the cook he makes bomb fajitas!

All of the Mazatlan restaurants are pretty much the same as far as taste goes. The Mazatlan I enjoy going to is the one in Lincoln City. Not to say the one in Newport isn’t good. Overall I enjoy the food, and I think you will too.

Don’t let the Karen’s with the one star reviews fool you!! This little place looks unassuming outside but the food is amazing! We ordered the Grilled molcajete and 3 Amigos – chili rellinio, chili Colorado & chile Verde. The Cadillac margaritas were perfect. Highly recommend!
