My wife, two daughters, and I came here for the first time and we were all incredibly impressed. There was nothing that disappointed us. The variety of naan was wonderful (onion was out of this world). Heat levels are great for Western palates because medium isn’t crazy hot, but adds a nice spice while hot has a very very nice kick that doesn’t ruin the flavor. Sadly, I wasn’t brave enough to try the extra hot, so I can’t comment on that. We shared Butter chicken, Chicken shahi kurma, Chicken tikka masala, and Malai kofta. We had a hard time deciding what our favorites were because they were all so good!. The prices are fantastic. Our server Bindu (Bindoo?) was super knowledgeable about every single dish all the way down to every step of preparation. She was absolutely amazing! And I have to mention the anroma and cleanliness of Desi. They were exceptional! Before coming here, we stopped at another Indian restaurant called Minerva that’s only about 10 minutes from home. It was dark, the guy at the register acted like we were interrupting his phone conversation, it smelled stale and a little musty, and it looked dirty (I’m thinking it was dark to hide the dirt). At Desi, we walked in and the aroma was so inviting! It’s a wonderful smell that makes you even hungrier and excited for your meal! And it’s so clean, too! We will absolutely be back!! Thank you for such a wonderful meal!

Had a nice buffet after a long time. Nice taste and price than the competitors around the place. Have more items in the buffet and refills them when needed. Desserts are nice but are more sweet – can be liked more by Sweet lovers.

This is our favorite place for delicious Indian food. We’ve enjoyed the buffet on weekends and have eaten in, but usually just get take out. Online ordering is easy and flawless. The food has never disappointed us. The servers are always friendly and helpful.

It was our first time at Desi Flavors. We ordered Chicken Fry Biryani & the Hyderabadi Chicken curry and both the dishes were packed with flavor! They truly are living up to their name, Authentic Desi flavors! The chicken was super fresh and the spices were strong and aromatic! Their prices are very reasonable, they are running a deal on chicken Dum Biryani buy one get one free we loved the food so much that we ordered the dum biryani to go! The service was fast and the staff super friendly! I will highly recommend this restaurant and they will be seeing me and my friends more often!

The lunch buffet on weekends is super awesome. The Mutton curry will make you drool. The yummy butter chicken and multiple options of starters.. It is heaven for the hardcore non vegetarian food lovers. I have started giving treats to my friends at this location.. So, so good!! This is our absolute favorite Indian buffet in Tampa. We’ve gone a few times now and each time there’s something a little different on the buffet. Everything is clean and fresh, and the staff is friendly. I’m not a vegetarian but I only really eat the veggie dishes when I’m here because they’re that good. Check them out – it’s definitely worth a trip.

I ordered the take out offer of buy family pack and get appetizer free on Sunday. Had to wait 30 minutes at the restaurant even though I arrived at the communicated pickup time. Ordered Fry piece biryani and it was very sour, no other taste. The appetizer was like a Chinese restaurant’ general tso’s chicken. It was very sweet and kind of rubbery texture. Never ordering again.

Unfortunately there is no option to give 0 star. Not sure on what earth this is Biryani.. Boiled white rice soaked in turmeric water with little amount of salt. The Audacity of the restaurant owners to take advantage of the business and reduce the quality of food when customers show up. This is the most flavourful and moth watering Biryani I have had. And my trash bin is lucky enough to have a taste of it today. This would be my last time visiting this place ever. Not to mention the excellent customer service !! Waste of time and money.
