North Florida Tasting Room
One of our favorite lunch spots. Best chicken and potato salad .. truly fresh and so tasty. Counter service and sometimes there is a line but it moves quickly and there is still so much hospitality! They are so patient as you ask questions and will totally customize if they can. So much value too! Average seating space .. we never have an issue getting a table and a nice covered patio as well. Limeades with fresh limes or lemons for your brewed tea. Oh and the red velvet or lemon cake… yum yum!

Clara’s is a local gem, and has been one of my favorite restaurants for years. I was ordering a lot of food delivery during the height of COVID, and happened to stumble upon Clara’s while randomly browsing nearby restaurants on DoorDash. The chicken salad pita was the first item I ordered, and I’ve been in love with this place ever since. Their chicken is always tasty, but you’d be hard-pressed to find something that isn’t delicious on the menu. I introduced my wife to the restaurant, and now she loves Clara’s just as much as I do. The quality and consistency of the food here is always top-tier, and I can honestly say my wife and I have never had a bad meal from here. Places like this are a true rarity, and I’m so grateful to live literally right behind their Mandarin location, on the corner of San Jose and Orange Picker. My only gripe is I wish the restaurant had longer business hours lol. I can’t say enough good things about Clara’s Tidbits, highly recommended!

First time trying this place. Me and my 4 GFs got different items from the menu and loved all of the dishes. I had Mediterranean salad with chicken. Did a take out for chicken salad sandwich with garlic pita chips. Food was really good. Service was good and we were able to talk at one of their big tables for a while. Real treat in itself. Two of my friends got their signature lemon cake and loved it. We tried their potato salad as well and it was one of the best. Did not take any pictures.

Love this place! Really do! We order here at least once a week if not more!! A little disappointed today, I paid for extra bacon no extra bacon, no Mayo on a blt! Come one you are busy because you good and you’re quality is good! But when you make mistakes like this it makes people not want to go back. The blt is super dry and not even good!

I used to go to the Tidbits over on Hendricks Avenue back when I worked off of Riverside, so I was happy to see that they now have a location on this side of town. This is a nice family owned establishment that has been a staple of Jacksonville for many years. They have a simple but good menu of various salads. soups and sandwiches.

Went to the San Jose location, ordered the Classic Combo and asked to have it with lettuce, tomato, sprouts, and NO EXTRA MAYO. Got home and there were NO SPROUTS and enough extra mayo to choke a horse. Tried calling 15 minutes before their 2:30 closing time to speak with somebody, but no one answered the phone and it rolled over to voicemail, which said “memory is full.” Completely dissatisfied.
