The why as to the lavishing praises I will never know. Did I miss something that makes all the difference between an average taco and a great one? I never been one to dislike positive reviews, but this Crazy Taco being a great quality food for a bargain price I disagree entirely. Edible? Certainly! Above average, best carnitas or carne asada, that is a long way from being so. $1.50 per mini taco is a fair offer, but the meats were diced so small, covered with average salsa, what exactly makes them great?

You don’t go here for the atmosphere and yes it’s a hole-in-the-wall, pretty much for to-go only because there aren’t any tables, but I’m pretty sure their prices are unbeatable in Chico. They’re also open pretty late for a Mexican restaurant, which I very much appreciate since Tacos Mary is about twice as expensive. Tastes good enough for me and seems pretty legit overall, I just wish they had whole black beans as well. I’d give 5 stars for the food if they had black beans.

Yep, this spot is legit. I just visited and the folks are very warm and helpful, the food was amazing. You can tell that they have a loyal following and that they take good care of their customers. I wanted to take a picture of my tacos but I at them while I walked back to my hotel. They were incredible. I’ll be back for a burrito tomorrow.

I have been coming here for 20+ years. Food is very fair price, people are friendly and portions are decent. All orders are Togo and they pass savings on to the customer. Real flavor, not some Italian sausage serving Mexican restaurant.

It was listed as a restaurant. It was “literally” a hole in the wall window connected to the mom & pop store. Street tacos were meh, but for a buck 50, well, it was a buck 50.
