Delightful ! We were treated like family. Had pulled pork sandwiches, crunchy Cole slaw & refreshing cucumber salad. Oh, let’s don’t forget the peach cobbler for dessert. Yum. Also got a portion of their custom Trucker smoked beef / pork blend sausage. Not greasy, tender casing, easy to enjoy & boy is it delicious ! This must be in the Top 100 Texas BBQ Restaurants.

While I do live in wallisville, Gator Junction is an awesome little BBQ and small store that serves up some fantastic BBQ. You have many items to choose from and prices are competitive with other restaurants. Gator Junction also has a friendly atmosphere and does a great job of taking care of the customers. I like to call my order in early because of the heat. Stop by if your traveling by on I – 10 East or West bound. Worth the time and money to enjoy some awesome BBQ.

This place is conveniently located right on I-10 with easy on/off ramps nearby. The chopped BBQ sammich I ordered was quickly delivered, and it was wonderful. The Christian owners are extremely nice, and we had a lovely chat about our shared faith. This is a very enjoyable stop as you’re heading down the highway.

The owner was charming ,engaged in pleasant conversations, came by to check on ke after I received my meal. The ribs surpassed my expectations. I also had jambalaya and was expecting something that tasted store bought but it was so delicious. The only thing I found offensive was when you went to pay it solicits tips from you and I didn’t feel that I should be typing the owner ,she was cashier’s and there was no witness or table cloth.other than that it was an awesome experience.

What a lovely little gem! Stopped off for some supper after driving on the road for a few hours on our way back to Houston from Louisiana. The staff were so kind and chatty. The food was a great price and delicious. They chatted with us all about their cooking procedures, the local Texas pop (soda) and the hour flew by. It was a nice break from driving. My hus and travels to Baytown sometimes for work so I hope he brings his crew out for lunch and me home some leftovers! Such a nice spot on the road true southern hospitality.
