The lady upfront was cool. There was a decent wait (about 20 minutes). I ordered the “gumbo”, red snapper with Mac & cheese, & a piece of cornbread, bbq ribs & cabbage. The only thing I enjoyed eating was the cabbage.

I put off too long coming here. Everything was good, served hot and fresh. Snapper plate with potato salad and cabbage. Also got a side of fried okra. I was expecting fish fried in cormeal…would’ve liked that extra crunch. Still good and crunchy. Will be back to try other dishes. Oh the koolaid

I loved the shrimp, fried okra, and Mac n cheese. I had high expectations for the pork ribs, but I was left a little disappointed. The ribs were OK. I still recommend this place and will revisit to try the other good stuff on the menu.

My 2nd time visiting and hands down the best greens in Sacramento!!! I’ll continue to drive across town catfish and greens. Last week we had the oxtails omg delicious.. every staff member deserves a high five y’all are the best in Sacramento. Please try the tasty popcorn and or the banana pudding… it’s nap time

I placed an order to go. I waited for approximately 45 minutes for my food. The food was fresh crispy and hot. I ordered shrimp and fish with sides: greens, red beans, and rice. I really enjoyed the greens. Most restaurants dont add enough seasoning, but their greens were seasoned to perfection with a little spice. The fish, shrimp, and cornbread were also delicious. The cornbread was sweet, soft, and delicious. I did not enjoy the beans and rice (they lacked seasoning). Overall, I enjoyed my food. I will be back.
