Had an awesome night at Chico’s North of the Border! Mina is a blast to be around! Hard Working and Hilarious! A well traveled bartender named Tyler who said he didn’t work there was also behind the bar. The Margaritas and Chimichanga were excellent. Hot, Ample and Fresh!

Love Chico’s! It’s probably a drive from wherever you are but well worth it to hang out with Mina and enjoy great margaritas and delicious Mexican food in the middle of the Northwoods. Her margaritas are legit, no sweet and sour mix here…these are made with fresh squeezed lime juice each time. Check it out…you won’t be disappointed.

The bartender is very fun and the place has a great atmosphere. Food is worth waiting for and is a good value for the buck, don’t forget to get the hot sauce with any meal. I try to get here around 5 times a year just for the food and company.

I had an absolute blast at Chico’s NOTB! I stayed in one of the on-site cabins and got to enjoy some beautiful scenery while having wonderful drinks served by a phenomenal bartender. Worth making the trip out!

Worth any wait you may encounter: family owned and ran, small and intimate venue, yet be prepared to party. Mina is great. The food is superb. The drinks, even better. The view is the best. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Underrated yet the best Mexican food you will find in the WI north woods.
